We listened to the heartbeat, this time it was much easier to hear. It was 150bpm. The Dr. also measured my stomach and it was right on track. Things look as if everything is going just as it should. She is very active and we are feeling her kick and move more each day.

you may notice the gap between the big toe and the little piggie that stayed home, the ultrasound technician called it sandal-foot, some of you on Jeff's side will recognize it as the Segelhorst Spread.
We had our third ultrasound at about 15½ weeks. Our doctor got a new 3d ultrasound machine one day before our last ultrasound. They were not quite well trained at the time so we didn't get to see it in action, but this time they were able to show us how it worked!
We had an appointment today and got to listen to the heartbeat, it was 160bpm. We never got to hear more than 5 or so beats in a row because the baby kept flipping around.
For our first anniversary, July 30th 2006, we got each other tickets (paper) to the Oklahoma at Missouri football game that took place on Oct. 28th. Here's the short version:
COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -Paul Thompson threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score as No. 19 Oklahoma turned five Missouri mistakes into points in a 26-10 victory Saturday. Two interceptions, a fumble, a blocked punt and a roughing the kicker penalty set up every score for Oklahoma, which beat No. 23 Missouri.
At about 1-1/2 inches head to rump, his/her gestational size is at 12 weeks 3 days. Last ultrasound it was only 5 days ahead, now 10? Sounds like we're having a big baby. On the monitor the baby was very active, jumping and kicking all over the place. The heart rate was seen at 171 bpm.

And lastly, here are the legs.
The early early guess is a girl due to the 3 lines and the elevated heart rate. However there is plenty of time for the lines to go away and the heart rate could've been high due to the growth rate and all the activity. We had to promise not to buy anything yet, not even one cheap t-shirt, so don't you go buying anything either.
It was about this time that we found out Carrie was pregnant. It was planned and the baby is due April 21st, 2007. Check out our BabySeeley Blog to track the pregnancy.
We went to Florida for a week with Jeff's family for vacation and also to celebrate our first anniversary.
The niece and nephews (left to right; Lucas, Jaden, Tyler) were fun to watch at the beach. Here's the result of us trying to get them all to look at the camera.

We went to England with the Ambassadors of Harmony. We stayed one day and one night in York where we walked the walls that surround the city and visited Clifford's Tower.
The remainder of our trip was in Harrogate. We stayed in The Majestic hotel.
