City Garden

The City Garden is located downtown St Louis on Market street. It is a wonderful little space. It is filled with water fountains, wading pools, things to step on the make music, scultures the kids can climb on. We had a great time, we got there early and were about the only ones for a long time. We met a few friends from my work which was great for them to all run around together.

This was giant head they could climb inside of...Avery was peering through the eye.

We spent alomst 3hrs there playing and Evelyn was asleep within about 2 minutes of leaving...she had such a great time, we hope to make it back many more times.

Picking blackberries and peaches

She enjoyed eating more than picking and enjoyed the tractor ride around the farm.

Our Church's summer festival...what a great day for it

Evelyn's favorite spot, the petting zoo, they even had a baby zebra this time.

She loves trucks/tractors/motorcycles, this was her other favorite spot.

A trip to see the stingrays at the zoo

She actually touched them..I couldn't believe it. If you haven't been to see them...I highly reccomend it and if you go the 1st hr they are open you can get in free.

Making faces with the apes.

She was really excited to ride the train this time and really enjoyed it.

Our little artist

We took advantage of a cool morning and tried out the easel. She really enjoyed painting with the easel, she hasn't been that interested in painting before.

Being cheesy, what she does best

Daddy's new "truck" as Evelyn calls it.

When we came home from gymnastic's Jeff was cutting the grass on the new riding mower and of course Evelyn had to go for a ride. She thought it was great and now calls it daddy's truck.

4th of July

A nearby retirement community has a big 4th celebration that we checked out this year with some friends. I highly reccomend it to any of you locals. They have free food and a band playing and clowns making balloons and face painting and other activities for the kiddos. Evelyn had a blast and loved the fireworks!
