Salad Spinner Art

She didn't want her picture taken for some reason. Evelyn wanted to paint, but she usually only last about 30 seconds and then starts eating it. So, seeing as I don't use our salad spinner but maybe 2x/year I thought we would try some painting with it. It was well worth the clean up of the spinner. She loved it and spun it over and over without flinging paint everywhere.

Our playdate at the zoo

We played in the discovery room at the zoo again and had a great time. She worked very hard trying to squeeze the squirt bottle and finally got the hang of it.Maybe she is an aspiring vet? At least this time she did more then just play with the fake poop, she played with it, but only for a short time.

Our new swingset

Not 100% finished, but functional....we are so excited.

She really loves it, but isn't just too certain about sliding by herself. She usually wants me to climb up with her and then she tells me to sit and then say "yap" and wants to slide down in my lap.

Our yard is kind of sparse when it comes to grass, so the rainboots come in handy!

New Pictures

Jeff is building Evelyn a swing set for her birthday and she really wanted to help. Don't worry she only held the power tool long enough to take a picture and the hammer didn't last much longer then that.

Our trip to the ER was unrelated to the power tools....she has inherited my lungs and horrible cough and maybe some asthma from me, so we were up in the middle of the night and she sounded much worse and we were afraid if we didn't go it would turn into something else and she just didn't sound good at all, so off we went to Childrens at 3am. She thought most of it was great! Especially the little bed.

Holding her cousin Kate. She really seems to like babies at least for about 30 seconds at a time.

A little rainbow jello and cool whip to celebrate St Patricks day....she enjoyed playing with it more then actually eating it.

Her bike

I swear this weekend Evelyn was actually pedaling her bike, not too far, but she was. Of course i was the only one there and by the time I got the camera she wouldn't do it anymore. I'm sure it won't be long before she is riding all over the place. We actually had to break out the sun hat and sunscreen. Can't wait for warmer weather.
